Woman serving was rude and had bad hearing. Asked for a veggie sausage roll and was given a meat one. Only found out after buying into it. Not exactly a destination cafe, but if you are stopping here don't go. Wait until you reach your destination and buy something from there instead.
I understand people can be under pressure and maintaining a smiley face can be hard but when your place is empty and you have four hungry people in front of you a bit less attutiude would be nice. My son saw a sign for a sausage bap which we didn't see at first and then when we did the lady said I have to go and make that up and was incredibly grumpy when asking if he wanted any sauce. I rarely storm out of a place but on this occasion I did. I'd also rarely leave a scathing review like this but honestly found the service to be unbelievable. Whether the lady had an issue with us or just in a bad mood it was just not something I'd expect. We crossed over to platform 3 for a much better service.
I have to say i was VERY impressed with the service i received when i went in here for coffee and a bacon sandwich (which was very tasty and fresh . I will definitely be in again on my next visit 'down south '. Service was also fast efficient and friendly (can 't remember the ladies name......sorry
The man in there was absolutely lovely and so willing to help- making it as quick as possible so I didn’t miss my train which I really appreciated. Because of this I decided to visit again to be served by a woman who didn’t say a word to me and instead was on her phone having a conversation the whole time. Not good!
