Pic Nic - Arromanches-les-Bains

We wanted a simple baguette and beer for lunch. We had Fab Baguettes at all Boulangeries in the week and thought the standard was the same. Wrong! Hardly any filling, very bad standard. Server smoked and the chip fryer coughed over the commands. To insult injuries, we were overloaded (not much, but still... and didn't know to far away. Please avoid this place it must be better places in Arromanches than this outfit.

If you are looking for a great baguette to eat while being amazed at Arromanches, this is the place to go. They make it with whatever you want and while you wait so you know it is fresh and the taste is amazing.

This place offers quick food with very responsive service. We had the hamburgers (pretty small, but reasonably priced). They don't really have a bathroom per se, it's a little outhouse out back. This is a no frills place. on our time in Normandy: [hidden link]

This place found the beaches of Normandy during the D-Day celebration. Perfect jewel of a place. Cold beer, big sausage dog on a fresh baguette. Great location. Nice people.

They grilled sausages on the street. Put a fresh baquette and a drink well to go. Also external seats in the back. Appropriate prices.
