Corte Bariani - Arqua polesine

We stayed at Corte Bariani on 19/11, on the occasion of the traditional social lunch of our association. Approximately a seventy-year meal, a menu agreed more than a month earlier, with a rich buffet of appetizers and appetizers, following three courses served at the table. The buffet of appetizers did not even include half of what was promised; the most precious foods (baccalà mantecato, prosciutto di Parma 24 months cut to the knife, etc..) were sautéed evenly, as well as the vol-au-vent, much of the fried, the aperitif alcohol / alcohol and much more than originally agreed. The seasonal vegetables presented, were three (3! spices of potatoes served with roast. The selection of grappas and liqueurs was liquidated with two bottles of Cape bitter, served quickly and fury while the diners were already leaving the room. At the time of welding the account, the owner noted the long series of defaults, which unfortunately did not follow any repentance, nor attempt repair. Nothing to excel on the quality of the food served at the table, which is in general good quality, neither on the commitment of the staff of the room and not on the location, really suggestive. But this risks not enough, indeed to be vanquished, being the correctness, the respect of the customer, and the willingness to put on us always, indispensable elements of those who want to make catering their mission. I exclude the conditions for a return. Too bad.

This place is surrounded by greenery, the outside looks very well. The interior is wide, the first impression is good, but then, observing the details, you realize that it is a little kitsch. The fish grill was abundant and good, as well as the paccheri all'astice. The presentation of the dishes could be improved. Friendly staff.

We stayed on Friday 9 September at a wedding ceremony of our friends. We were fine was intimate and elegant. The delicious buffet, dinner to follow excellent. Congratulations will definitely return.
