Dogwood - Arnold

We ate here during the pandemic and thought it was wonderful. We returned last night and we were not disappointed! The food has a slightly high price point for the area, but for a little extra cost, you get top notch food. Seems like a fair deal to me! I had the flat iron steak with Chimichurri and potatoes. My husband had the special blackened prawns. My daughter had the pork chop. My son had the special lamb. Not one of us was disappointed! We all cleaned our plates. The staff is really nice and the ambiance is cozy and comfortable. Highly recommend this place!

Food is great! You must make reservations. Wait staff is friendly and accommodating. If possible sit at the bar. Watching the magic happen is magical.

Best place in the highway 4 corridor!! The kitchen opens up behind the bar, and you can see everything being, cooked, prepared and presented. Don (owner) and Dogwood get my highest recommendation.

Entree tasted good but wasn't impressed with the fact they were out of a ton of stuff and it wasn't even late. Every entree only came with green beans as a veggie, they were out of 3 of 5 beers on tap and their wine list had so many bottles crossed off I thought it was a scavenger hunt list. Calamari was ok. Was disappointed when the server describe the Asian Chicken app and it came out as like deep fried chicken bites with a mayo dipping sauce. There is only one kids meal option too. Chicken tenders. I understand trying to keep cost down and have fresh items but for a restaurant where for 4 people we spent over $250, I expected a lot more. Over all the meal wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.
