Bistro Espresso - Arnold

The food here is never above average or passable. Would've given three stars, but with the so-so quality, I had to deduct 1 star for the prices that don't match the quality. The drinks are even more over priced than the food. We don't really have any other options around here without going downhill if you just want to grab a cup of coffee, so unfortunately they can get away with Sysco quality food at unreasonable prices. Staff were friendly and helpful and the outside seating area is great. Unfortunately, the food fell short on many fronts. The French dip sandwich was under seasoned and served with cold meat. This would not have been so bad, but the dip itself was also not very flavorful and served just under room temperature. The cole slaw had no flavor, adding pepper didn’t even save it. I think they must have run out of vinegar or something. I did very much enjoy the unique coffee flavors offered though. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Cute spot to stop for lunch. Food is decent, service is friendly and I loved the deck. Caveat is they struggled to handle allergy requests. I think it’s just a training issue? But if you don’t have food restrictions it’s a solid lunch spot.
