Was recommended to us by a local, definitely didn't disappoint. I tried their café del campo - SO good. We were staying at the Mocawa apartments right across the street, so it was super convenient.
This is my go-to cafe in Armenia. As a gringo it's nice to go to a cafe with tables and chairs that I can actually fit in. It's a great place to get work done. It's a nice, tranquil ambiance. The staff is always very friendly and patient (my Spanish is somewhat wanting). Number one recommendation is the Chai!
I've been staying in Armenia for 2 months and have tried several coffeeshops. I must say Fika is my fave one. Because I'm not a fan of espresso, I always order their cappuccino and macchiato and I like it. I also like their sweet nutella frappucino. A friend of mine ordered a cinnamon roll and she said it was to die for. Another fave thing is that everytime I go there, it's always calm and tranquil. That's why I like it there.
FIRST. THIS CAFE IN NOT IN FRONT OF MACAWA PLAZA OR HOTEL.It is located on the street directly behind the Hotel Armenia.Walk down street between Hotel Armenia and Cafe Quinido and around corner and cafe Fika is in the plaza.Good selection of coffee, sandwiches and postres.Nice seating outside to see plaza and parque across street. Good spot to watch people walking past.I enjoyed two coffees, Narino and Huila. I also had the Hawaino sandwich, pina, queso blanco, jamon.,
