The Portofino - Arlington

What a classic example of time-honored quality, value and exceptional serviceGrowing up locally, this has been a favorite for decades.

We arrived at Portofino this past Saturday to have a carb-filled meal before Sunday's Marine Corp Marathon.

Dinner with friends I haven't seen in a couple of years so we decided on an old favorite.

Amazing food as always. This place never disappoints.

My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food.
