Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Arlington

The service was awful. I placed my order in person and they never called my name until I inquired about it. My smoothie was melted by the time I received it. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Surprised this has such a high rating.. maybe I ordered badly but the mocha smoothie went straight in the trash overpriced rubbish.

Seems like this place has pretty much converted to a ghost kitchen. They seemed confused that I was coming in as a regular customer and not an ubereats delivery person. The inside has been converted to a catering assembly line, and the bathrooms areclosed for unclear reasons. Weird vibe if you're a traditional customer.

This is the second time this has happened to me - my smoothie had pieces of plastic in it. I had to keep spitting out the plastic while drinking the smoothie, and I couldn't even finish it. This has only happened at the tropical smoothie location in Virginia Square; other locations I've visited did not have this issue. It's unacceptable to have plastic in my smoothie, especially considering the amount of money I've spent here. I'm writing this review to warn others, and I will not be returning to this location.

I enjoy the smoothies and wraps at this restaurant, but they always seem confused about pickup orders. Every time I come in, they have to have a conversation among themselves to figure it out. During my most recent visit, I waited almost 20 minutes once I got to the store and watched 5 people who ordered after me receive their smoothies before me. I only ordered one smoothie off the menu. It seems like this location could benefit from some better organization and communication.
