Bidrage med feedbackI am sorry, but this did not live up to the hype.Even the person who hyped it up was disappointed.Maybe we caught them on a not so good day.No crawfish upon arrival.I am very critical to any place that says it represents New Orleans since that is where I am from. The boil shrimp was over cooked, the red beans were a bit on the salty sideThe fried fish was fried a bit too hard but the fried chicken was good. The kids' corn dog was burnt. As a visitor from New Orleans, I was happy to at least get my pineapple Big Shot cold drink.I will try again on my next visit as multiple ppl hyped up this place.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids meal
Great atmosphere, went early food hot except for hushpuppies. Good prices. Ordered Bayou Cat combo,ENTIRELY TOO MUCH BREADING…on fish, Fillet way TOO THIN.Food: 2/5
Disappointing and lame first-time experience. First off, the inside looked really ghetto and trashy. Like, try. Just try.The food was okay but plain and skimpy in proportion considering the price. I got a shrimp po-boy, which they advertise as being overstuffed on the website. The sandwich was small and not even bare-minimum stuffed. They were not only stingy with the baby shrimp (most bites were just bread), but there was hardly any of the finely shredded lettuce and finely sliced tomatoes. I could hardly taste the mayo. The bread was hard to break apart with my teeth, yet crumbly at the same time. Cheap quality ingredients all around. Meanwhile they gave me enough okra to last a week as if that would make up for the tiny, disappointing sandwich. No thanks, I didn 't pay $18 for sides.I will never be back and do not recommend anyone spend their hard earned coins on this opportunistic establishment . This is a one and done if ever I saw it.
Before we walked in, a young lady walked out and said, YOU MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE! She went on to say how amazing the food was, and it reminded her of home. SHE WAS RIGHT!!! This is our new spot whenever we come to town. AMAZING!Food: 5/5
This placed was packed on a Saturday afternoon. The line was long (all the way around to the door), but it moved along alright. The line was long the whole time we dined here.We had 2 orders of Boiled Crawfish w/ Potatoes, Corn and Sausage, Butterfly Shrimp, and Corn Dog. The Crawfish boil sides come with extra charge. The crawfish was good and spicy. My kids liked their shrimp and corn dog. They offer bags of New Orleans style chips and drinks in a fridge. It took a while for our food to come out, but it was understandable due to the long lines.
