Ted's Montana Grill - Arlington

Always a good, reasonably priced meal in Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia. I have been using this place of a good reasonably priced business meal. Plenty of parking close by in lots and some street parking.

Good but not great. Three people in our party ordered their steaks cooked medium, but all were cooked well done. Three of us had burgers. I chose bison meat for my burger. It was lean meat and tasted good, but I prefer beef. All in all, everyone enjoyed their meals. Where Ted’s was lacking was in service. Our waiter wasn’t good. He had a bad attitude and we had to ask multiple times for condiments and to have drinks refilled. Pretty ridiculous for a meal that was over $200. If you’re in the area and looking for a big burger, I’d recommend Ted’s, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here.

Ted’s is a great place to eat and socialize; however, be prepared for a loooong dinner when getting there between 6 and 7pm. Love the sliders. Ordered the eggless Caesar salad. Took 2 hours. Eat early or late.

Food: New York Strip Beef Steak was great!Service and Personnel: The restaurant personnel were very courteous, accommodating and nice.Atmosphere: A better and bigger table would be nice. 6 of us ate in a small circular table and kinda feels like were eating elbow to elbow.Overall I give the restaurant a 9/10 rating. Would definitely be back to eat their great steak!

I visited somewhat randomly. Atmosphere was nice. Got a seat at the bar. And then waited. Along with everyone else around me. Finally ordered a drink and a salad. Salad came before the drink but I didn’t have a setup. There has been 3 guys working the bar and then it was one guy. Woman next to me waited 10 minutes to pay. Another guy near me who came in 5 minutes before I ordered my drink, finally got to order 15 minutes later. Mistakes to other orders around me. It was crazy. I finally ordered my entree and when it arrived, it was cold. Service was terrible because they were short handed. Food was ok but cold. A burger with chili and onion rings should not come out cold. Not impressed and won’t be back. If you plan to visit don’t do it during regular meal times.
