Sweet Georgia Brown - Arlington

Glad I stopped by to eat here. I had to ask the person taking my order what town/area I was in, as I was en route to visit some South Georgia solar farms that day.Nice little decor, friendly staff, and the toasted chicken salad sandwich was really exceptional. Granted, eating chicken salad is just a hobby, but I consider this to be pretty damn good.

The sandwich shop has one of the best BLTs. I’ve tasted in a long time.

Excellent choice for a simple meal. The restaurant is clean, bright and comfortable. The ladies at the counter are friendly and helpful. We had the toasted chicken salad sandwich with their homemade chicken and rice soup as a side choice. It was delicious and filling. Prices are reasonable and great home-cooked food.

What a lovely hidden gem in a sleepy Georgia hamlet. It's a Southern-style deli, replete with the delicious pimento cheese and chicken salad, burgers, dogs, salads, sandwiches, and larapin desserts. The lady who took my order was so friendly, funny, and easy to talk to that I'd return for that reason alone. Talk about hospitality. Add the salad sampler plate with the aforementioned pimento cheese and chicken salad, and it adds up to a great place to get lunch if you find yourself in Arlington.
