Mad Rose Tavern - Arlington

A diverse clientele, excellent music selection, and a convenient location. There’s plenty of street parking available, as well as a few nearby garages within walking distance. The food was fantastic—try the calamari and vodka shrimp!

I visited this restaurant for Sunday brunch and opted for the buffet, which exceeded my expectations for a buffet. I particularly enjoyed the chorizo empanadas, truffle mac and cheese, MRT scrambled eggs, grilled potato salad, and mixed fruit tart. While the rest of the options were fairly standard, they were still quite tasty. The service was attentive, with prompt refills on coffee and water. Although we made a reservation through OpenTable, there appeared to be no wait at all. I would definitely consider returning for brunch in the future.

The food comes out quickly, the draft beer selection is fantastic, and the nighttime vibe is really enjoyable. Located right in the heart of Clarendon, they have DJs playing from Thursday to Saturday, featuring a great mix of music. I really liked my experience and I'm thrilled that it's just a 5-minute walk from my apartment!

I miss the back deck, but the crowd here is getting better over time. The place is well kept. And bartenders are very accommodating.
