Kanpai - Arlington

Superb sushi and amazing teriyaki. Goya dumpings were the best! Reasonably priced and AWESOME food. Going back ASAP.

I love visiting Kanpai at night and indulging in their carefully curated selection of seasonal noodle dish specials, such as nabeyaki udon and zaru soba. They even offer handmade yaki onigiri that is both visually stunning and incredibly tasty. Any restaurant that features a natto handroll on their menu clearly pays attention to detail. Even though I’m not a fan of natto, I always order it whenever I go, simply on principle! Give Kanpai a chance to be more than just a place for a business lunch, and you’ll discover a true neighborhood gem.

Fantastic food! I've always loved Japanese cuisine, and I can confidently say that they always serve fresh dishes. The prices are quite reasonable as well. Given the emphasis on raw ingredients in Japanese food, it's important to have high-quality items to avoid any risk of food poisoning. Thumbs up! I highly recommend this place with a perfect 10/10.

I really don’t understand the negative comments about this restaurant. The ingredients are always incredibly fresh, the service is quick and professional, the prices are reasonable for the area, and everything is kept clean. I highly recommend trying the Chesapeake roll; it may sound a bit unusual, but I think the idea of adding a sprinkle of Old Bay to sushi is both delicious and creative.
