Bidrage med feedbackWe visited on Monday evening to try out the new menu, and three of us thoroughly enjoyed the Hello McFly sandwich, fish and chips, and the John Rambo sandwich, along with various cocktails. The onion rings were panko-style, which was different from the batter I had seen in photos, so some of us were happier than others. Our server, Penny (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly!), was fantastic. It was a lovely experience, and the place was exceptionally clean and tidy. I appreciated the selection of bottled hot sauces. The recorded music could be a bit quieter for better conversation, but that’s a common issue in restaurants, and we didn't mention it to anyone. We will definitely be back!
The service was friendly and fast, and the food was absolutely delicious—definitely try any of the burgers! The side salads are freshly chopped and tasty. Melanie was an excellent server, always available when needed. Thank you!
I've been at UTA for four years and just now visited JR Bentleys for the first time. I've really been missing out! I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and immediately assisted by Amber, who is super friendly and laid-back. The drinks are great, especially the new 99 Banana Shot seltzer that she created and let me try! The atmosphere is enjoyable and perfect for hanging out at 3 PM after class.
Used to come here while in school at UTA. They had the best burgers back then. I've been here a few times since the remodel and the menu was very similar. They have a new menu now and the burgers aren't what they used to be, which was disappointing. Theyweren't terrible, but not worth coming here for. I don't drink anymore so the nostalgia and menu are what brings me back. Don'tthink nostalgia alone can bring me back. Nice atmosphere and great service, tho. Love what they've done with the place. Used tofeel like a dungeon.
Let me start by saying, I hate to write a bad review for any establishment, but especially a local, small business like J.R. Bentley?s. Unfortunately, the experience I had this evening warrants some feedback. My partner and I went to J.R. Bentley?s toparticipate in their Tuesday trivia night. We were greeted at the door, but after seating ourselves, we waited well over tenminutes for a server to greet us. Finally, I went to the bar to ask for water, when a waitress appeared and asked us if we hadbeen taken care of. She then brought us waters, and I asked her a question regarding the ingredients of an item on the menu, asI have food allergies. She returned with an apathetic ?they come frozen, there?s no way of knowing.? Now, I understand it?sdifficult to accommodate a guest with food allergies, but I have visited other restaurants whose servers were able to read theingredients of a frozen food item directly from the box. After that, we did not see her for about fifteen minutes. Again, Iapproached the bar, menu in hand, hoping to place my partner and I?s food order with anyone who would help us. A differentwaitress asked us, again, if we had been helped. She then took our orders, and our food was delivered in a fair amount of time. After we had our food though, again, she did not return to our table to check on us or refill our waters. For the third time, Iwent to the bar, hoping for a refill on our waters. The bartender seemed frustrated that he had to tend to us, but gave us ourwaters, and I sat back down. Our second waitress came back with the check, one check, and did not ask if we would be splittingit or paying together. When we asked her to split it, she returned with our cards saying that she had mistakenly ran our cardsfor another person?s order, but it shouldn?t have charged us. I mean, wow, right? I tried to give this place the benefit of thedoubt after the first blunder, but candidly, the service was very poor, and most of the staff seemed apat
