La Taverna Armento - Arklow

The restaurant offers outstanding food in a lovely atmosphere. The staff is constantly exceptional and the portions of delicious Italian dishes are plentiful.

Our group of six had our first meal at Strawberry Tree and were blown away by the overall experience. We had high expectations based on recommendations, but the service, food, and atmosphere exceeded them all. As the one who made the reservation, I was delighted with how well the evening went.

I stayed at the Brook Lodge for 2 nights over Easter and was delighted to be able to bring my pet along. The highlight of my stay was dinner on the second night at The Strawberry Fields. It was the best dining experience I've had in a long time, even before the pandemic. The meal was included in the package and it was fabulous - I couldn't fault it. The three courses were delicious and the dessert would have been extra, but we were too full to order it. The restaurant had a faultless, organic menu and was set in a beautiful, old-fashioned luxurious setting. It was simply perfect!

Had dinner here as part of our deal. The food is excellent breads with organic butter and wild garlic pesto, followed by an amuse bouche of fish cake. Both of us had steak, again cooked to our liking. Desert was extra, but worth the extra charge. I had the Panna cotta with chilli sorbet, Different but nice The staff here were excellent and checked to make sure everything was ok

This restaurant is truly exceptional. This was not our first visit, but each time we come, the food surpasses our expectations. The staff is attentive and professional, providing top-notch service. It truly is fine dining at its finest!
