Petenwell Pub - Arkdale

This is a nice, clean restaurant located right across from the lake. They offer tasty burgers, and I've heard great things about their pizza as well. The indoor dining area is cozy, and outdoor seating is self-service. It's definitely worth stopping by for lunch or grabbing takeout. There's also a pool table and the usual gambling machines in the back.

We are from Milwaukee but have a place nearby. We didn’t realize that the local pizza spot we usually go to was takeout only, so we drove all the way there and were disappointed to find out. Luckily, our neighbor up north recommended this place for great pizza, and she was absolutely right! Just a heads up, this is a beer bar only. We ordered drinks, cheese curds, breaded mushrooms, and two pizzas. Although we were initially bummed that our favorite pizza place was closed, Petenwell Pub’s pizza turned out to be even better! The stuffed mushrooms were delicious as well! Highly recommend!

Charming rustic spot by the water. The food is delicious, and the service is friendly. We will definitely return! Update: We went back, and it was just as excellent the second time around.

Great pizza, nice employees, a little bit of everything on the menu Staff is very quick with drinks and food, but no rush to eat. Stay as long as you want too, without being rushed out the door
