Virginia's Authentic Mexican Food

Be sure to try the tacos—they're excellent! The atmosphere is charming as well; it's a place where anyone can showcase their decorating style if they invest a little money.

A delightful hidden gem in Arivaca, AZ, this restaurant offers authentic Mexican cuisine. The menu is limited and there are no drinks available, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Since it's run by just one person, it may take a little while for your order to be prepared, but it's well worth the wait. I tried the chicken tacos with cheese and salsa, and they were quite tasty. I’d definitely like to return to try the carne asada and breakfast burritos next time.

One of those rare hole in the wall restaurants that didn't even have a wall. Picnic benches outside but some of the best prices and best Mexican food I've ever had while at a restaurant. When I sat down to write my review of this restaurant, I was astounded to see that it had only 2 stars! I discovered this gem with my father-in-law during a cycling adventure, where we were road biking from Amado to Arivaca (by the way, it’s an incredible ride for road cyclists!). Virginia’s is genuinely fantastic! They serve authentic Mexican cuisine that is simply delicious. Virginia, who comes from Obregon, is always in the kitchen, skillfully preparing flavorful tacos and burritos with perfectly made tortillas. Just to give you an idea of what to expect, the place has a taco truck vibe surrounded by a rustic adobe wall, with outdoor seating that adds to its charm. On my last visit, I had a chorizo burrito that was absolutely spectacular. I've only been there during my cycling trips, but I'm seriously thinking about making the 90-minute drive to take my wife! One important note: they are only open on Saturdays and Sundays from 9 AM to 2 PM, but be aware that their hours can be quite flexible, so they might be closed.

I thoroughly enjoyed the brunch I ordered. The food was both flavorful and expertly prepared, deserving a solid 4 out of 5 rating. The service was prompt and friendly, which is why I also gave it a 4. Although I only experienced the atmosphere through delivery, it seemed inviting and pleasant, earning another 4. Overall, this brunch was very satisfying, and I would gladly recommend it to others!
