The Harbourview Grille - Argyll Bute

We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. The staff was attentive and the food was fresh and delicious. We visited on a busy Friday and were fortunate to secure a table around 4:00 pm.

Part of the group that owns the old clubhouse, but not so good in our own. huge, huge portions and very friendly service, but eating could be better. nothing awfully good honest dug, but there's a bit of money missing.

Very disappointed that steaks were removed from the menu. the harbour view grille! they can a decent burger, lasagne, scampi etc. everywhere.

My partner and I have dined at the Harbour Grill before and enjoyed our meal, so we didn't hesitate to make a reservation for dinner during our recent visit to Campbeltown. However, to say that we were disappointed would be an understatement. We felt rushed by inexperienced staff, and the food was not good. Both of us felt ill later in the evening, and I had to leave early to lie down as I was feeling very sick. Since I had only eaten breakfast earlier that day, it was clear that the dinner was the cause. I will not be dining here again.

The mussels are to die for, served with lovely crusty seeded rye bread rolls. This was followed by the buffalo chicken burger and chunky fries. It's very rare for me not to clean a plate, but on this occasion I had to admit defeat as...the portions were very generous. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area again.
