Delicious freshly cooked fish tea including bread and butter. Great value. Friendly attentive staff.

We waited 5 minutes to be seated, we weren’t so found our own table. No cutlery on the table. We waited 15 minutes before we received a menu. The older male and female who worked there had an unsettling demeanour, although we waited so long to be served, they were unapologetic and we felt like we were annoying them. The male manager was wearing running shoes with jeans, not what we expected with the prices being what they are. The service was non existent, no one spoke to us or made us feel welcome. The manager(s) seemed much more interested in the customers who had hotel reservations. The portion were less than satisfying, the quality of meat was poor. The toilets were extremely clean.

Friendly service. Let down by mediocre food, even by pub standards. Starter portion sizes are disappointing for the price.

This is ideally placed for a vibrant restaurant. I was very underwhelmed. Competent, friendly service let down by ?management?

Staff are great. Lovely environment and atmosphere inside. Nice small bar. Pizza is delicious and take way is cheaper than Padrone’s. The drinks are expensive though a can of fizzy orange is £3 to take out.
