Bidrage med feedbackWe enjoyed our Sunday evening roast in the hotel restaurant where the customer service was very high. fantastic view from the restaurant led us to a walk along the adjacent beach for a great end of our day. Luckily come back, next in kintyre.
We stopped off for Sunday lunch on our way north from Campbeltown. I'm so pleased we did! The hotel sits right on the beach and after a warm welcome by Ian and Nick we enjoyed a gorgeous view over the Atlantic as we ate. We...both ordered traditional Sunday roast and the meal was delicious. Rounded off with apple and plum tart and coffee. Although we didn't partake this visit, the hotel has a wide delection of Scottish rums, whisky, gin and craft beers, including many locally produced drinks. Our doggy was made very welcome not like some places that claim to be dog friendly then make you sit outside! He was definitely treated like a star guest. We are regular visitors to Kintyre so we will definitely make a visit to the Argyll part of our trips. Highly recommended.
Whenever we visit Kintyre we stay here and always have our evening meal in the restaurant. The food is superb. There is an excellent choice and it is all very tasty. Great views and wonderful sunsets.
I stayed here for two nights recently and booked the restaurant in advance since I wasn’t sure what other options would be available. I’ll be honest I was a little worried at this as what if it wasn’t that good? I’d be eating after a...very long drive and was a little apprehensive. My worries subsided quickly with the warm welcome. They reduced further when I was presented with the small but very thoughtful menu. And vanished completely with the arrival and tasting of the food. That first night’s meal, where the service and location complimented perfectly the fine food made my decision to commit to a second night’s dinner provide a different emotional. Excited anticipation. So to those traveling to this remote part of Scotland and maybe concerned as I was about “What if I get there and the food isn’t good?” I get it. I’m lucky to live near London and have the good fortune of eating in some very well regarded eateries on a regular enough basis to know what quality means. But don’t worry. It, and everything else, is superb. I’ll be back for more. Which I’ll look forward to after another long drive.
