Taperia Bocateria Enrique - Arequipa

The place is nice, the food is good and the best is that you can enjoy many tapas, starting at S/.6=$2 more less, other cost more, some of them are available only some days during the week. I highly recommend the Spanish sangria (not very...cheap) but the flavor and the combination of flavors is perfect. If you don't like smoke avoid the place as the owner sometimes smokes inside and the place isn't too big.

While living in Arequipa for an extended period of time, this was my restaurant of choice. All the dishes were rich in flavor and very welll prepared (safe for the adjusting traveller . During the week, this is the best choice for a fulfilling 'menu ' at...a satisfying price. One is able to find dishes from various parts of the world (of course, Spain and Italy according to the chef 's pick . On Friday nights, there is a musican that plays while you are able to enjoy a delicious wood oven baked pizza, taps, and wine. From Huevos de la flamenca to Mousaka and classic Italian pizza, you are sure to leave happy. :

Pizza was better than some I've had in Peru, however that's not hard as I've had a few really bad ones. The service however was awful. First off the waitress didn't even bother to take the cap off my beer!! Then we realised after we...had ordered (2 personal size pizzas) that they had a promotion for large pizzas for the same price which the waitress (who also happens to be the chief) didn't even bother to point out!!! Then the pizza arrived, my girlfriend ordered the 4 sausage pizza which only had 2 types of sausage and one singular peace of burnt salami which I won't even count as an edible topping!! And to make it even worse the waitress's allowed for their friend to sit at the bar and smoke when it clearly has no smoking signs on the walls which was pretty disgusting whilst trying to eat. Overall not a great experience would not recommend.

We enjoyed a nice time at that taperia and would like to recomand that place thanks to the hospitality of the staff and the quality of the food. We came with a trek group after Cqnyon Colca visit and we could not spend a better...moment than here. I strongly recomand the sangria homemade prepared by the staff wihich is so delicious and all the tapas available on the menu, Good moment, thank you Enrique
