Alma Restaurant & Bar - Arequipa

I've gone here for the breakfast buffet several times and it's been a consistently excellent experience. The server Sheyla from the beginning remembered my name and preferences. The live harp music by Julián is impressive and a perfect accompaniment for breakfast. The food is quite...good as well! Highly recommended.

We decided to just stay in at our Hotel Casa Andina Premium on our last night as we were exhausted from 2 amazing days in Arequipa. We walked over to Alma and were greeted and seated immediately. Our waiter Aquiles was the best, he explained...all the dishes we asked about along with the wine selection for my wife who choose a Peruvian red. Food was fresh, tasty and timely. Jahir Sheyla were wonderful as well helping make our last night in Arequipa a memorable one. Thanks again, The Hynes family.

Lovely dinner, the food quality was excellent in keeping with the standard of the hotel. Our waiter Pablo was courteous efficient and attentive. Servings were generous.

The dinner we had here was hit and miss, but overall we were pleased. We had a beautiful flavorful Ceviche and meat dishes which were done well. Food presentation was very good, but service and temperature were not consistent. Bread was very disappointing (not edible)....Altogether, I think this is a fine solid choice, but not a home run to rave about.
