China Kitchen - Arbutus

I had a really disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered beef yak but received lo mein instead, and the beef was quite unappealing. This has completely dampened my appetite for Chinese food, and I won’t be returning. I don’t often write reviews, but I felt compelled to express my frustration today. If I could, I would rate it a negative five stars!

In my view, this is the best Chinese restaurant in the city. The wonton soup is outstanding, and the egg foo young is simply fantastic!

This has to be the worst restaurant I’ve ever ordered from. My noodles were lukewarm with some parts cold and others hot, and the shrimp was almost mushy. The bourbon chicken was extremely tough and simply unappetizing overall.

This restaurant is perfect for anyone in the mood for traditional Chinese cuisine! I sampled the sweet and sour chicken and General Tso's chicken, and both were absolutely delicious. I’m definitely going to make this my regular spot from now on. Plus, they’re open until 10 PM, which is a nice bonus!

This is our favorite place to grab lunch at work. The food is always fresh and served hot. We've never had any problems with either the food or the service. The delivery driver is consistently friendly and timely. It's the best spot for Chinese cuisine, and I highly recommend it!
