Mcdonald's Family Restaurants - Ararat

Sunday morning and it was a bit hard to find a coffee in town. Went to Maccas and have to say the coffee was pretty good, Double shot was hot and strong just as it should be - Well done Maccas !!

I actually started keeping a journal of the almost comical mistakes at this restaurant. Management needs to train their staff properly. The drive thru is a disaster & I would estimate I have to go to waiting bay at least 65% of the time. Orders are almost always incorrect. The displays are often not working. Machines are constantly in defrost or cleaning during peak hours. I even said as a joke once I was just going to order a drink & see if they could get it right & guess what? Coke instead of diet coke. It just now took the girl in drive thru SEVEN goes at getting my order right on the screen. I cannot believe Mcdonalds allow their name to be used by this place. No quality assurance whatsoever.

Always get bad service, restaurants dirty, incorrect meals and bad tasting coffee. Avoid. Haven't been back!

Had coffee which was just ok, tried one of the hamburgers after selecting from the Photo board, the hamburger was fresh cooked? but wasn't very hot and looked nothing like the one in the photographic display. French fries were cold and not clean looking however they were replaced without a problem. Suggest that the oil could do with a change. Overall very disappointed!

Upon arrival @ 8.30am the first thing we saw the overflowing rubbish bin. Empty beer bottles would indicate it has been there since last night. The tables inside did look to got either, I had to cleaned and wiped ours, the hash browns where barley warm. Will not be back.
