Amazing atmosphere, the crew (family business) was so beautiful and professional. eating was amazing, we couldn't finish our meal – everything was so delicious! they accepted us even though we had no reservation and the restaurant was fully booked. we will definitely come back and recommend to everyone we know to come
Be it the rich in quality and quality meze dishes. be it the super friendly and attentive staff and owners. be it the amazing band that plays music there. this place is a truly amazing culinary experience for a night with friends and or family. just great.
First thing to know before booking or going to this Tavern (taverna is this: COME HUNGRY! And yes, it 's worth the taxi drive from Larnaca center (15eur . The main event here is the Mezze option, which is a taste of the best dishes on the menu (or the most traditional at least , served in small portions: starters and salads, meat and dessert. PRICE: It is 20 Eur per person with a min of 2 people, but it is quite a lot for 2! Choose this option if you are 3 people (and even 4 if you don 't eat much. Worst case, order something extra but trust me you 'll be full! . What 's included in the Mezze (some dishes come to the table as you eat because there is no room for everything at once! . Verity of salads: vegetable salad with feta cheese, beet root (excellent! 2 types of Olives, feta and pepper spread (i liked it, my friends didn 't , sour yogurt (excellent , tahini sauce (excellent , butter, capers (don 't eat the vine, It has spikes! Eat just the leaves and the capers , fried zucchini with feta, slices of toasted bread, cooked mushrooms. Mixed meat: Kebab (amazing! , Pork brain (first tike I ate it, tastes like liver pate ' but softer it was just OK for us! , pork chops in wine, lamb chops, pork and beef souvlaki (as always in cyprus, a bit dry pork and beef sausage, beef liver. Dessert: Baklava and pricky pear I 'm writing this review the day after our dinner and I 'm still full! SERVICE: All the staff are actually the sons of the owner (who walks around the tables to make sure everything is ok . They were very friendly and nice although a bit slow at times. Come here knowing the pace is more easygoing and don 't rush it. We were there for 2 hours. They also have live music during the weekend which is 2eur extra per person. BOTTOM LINE: one of the best restaurants and food we 've had in Larnaca! Definitely add it to your list
Very traditional, me and my girlfriend were sat at the top which overlooked the restaurant, it was lovely. We ordered the Meze, I eat alot, but this done me! It was great food, I couldn't eat the pigs brain and snails but everything else was amazing.
