Formosa Chinese - Aqaba

If you are looking for it, go through the archway to the Aqaba Marketplace and it’s tucked inside of there! Staff knows what vegan is and menu items are labeled vegan. Good selection. I had the Formosa tofu and enjoyed it. They are open during the day during Ramadan!

Entrees were great. Scallion pie and springrolls. The soja sauce was exquisite. Sadly couldnt follow up with the main course, bok choy was bland and the Formosa curry didn't live up to our expectations. Paired with the fact that this being the most expensive dinner spot we visited so far, wouldn't recommend

In Aqaba it was very difficult to find good vegan restaurants. That's why we were very happy that this restaurant offers different vegan dishes and options. Very tasty food and friendly staff!

We were looking for a place to drink and found a staircase leading with a beer sign. It did not look that welcoming and we were sure that we made a mistake, but the friendly waiter came up and offered a look around the upper floor if we want to stay. At that time we were the only guests upstairs and ordered two big designs of beers. They came very fast and were very cold. We had a look at the courtyard of the Aqaba gateway and sat there for a while. It was surprisingly nice up there and the smell of food from below was amazing. Thank you for this beautiful stay in your upper terrace!

The most delicious Chinese food in Jordan. I miss this place and enjoy coming to Aqaba.
