Bidrage med feedbackA beautiful setting with both dining room and terrace overlooking the valley and village of Apricale. The menu is inventive and fresh, some standouts were the Zucchini flan with parmesan cream and fried zucchini blossoms, and vitello tonnato with caper berries. Ildo and his staff were incredibly hospitable, even squeezing us in on an evening when they were fully booked and very busy. We look forward to returning.
We first came here 9 years ago and visited many many times after. We had the Covid years gap, so with the return came great expectations. It didn’t disappoint. It was just as fabulous. They offer a small menu and specials, to me that is a sign of a great restaurant; knowing they can cook everything fresh and the produce will be superb. My personal favourites : Hugo spritz, Apricus salad to start, followed by either steak or rabbit and then if specials are thrown in it becomes a tough choice. AND the best bit (other than the view) is the staff. The manager is a star and his staff are second to non..always with a smile.
You will be warmly welcomed by Ildo and his staff whether you are here for breakfast, coffee, lunch or dinner. You can let time drift by listening to the laid back playlist and sampling the delicious food. Everything fresh daily, cooked to perfection. Visitors come from far and wide to experience this perfect osteria in the most beautiful town. A must do.
