The Southern Deli - Apopka

I had a wonderful first experience at Southern Deli. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon was nice and crispy. I really enjoyed the seasoning on the home fries as well. The iced tea was fantastic. It’s truly great southern comfort food with a homemade touch. I’m eager to return and try the meatloaf. The customers at the table next to us were indulging in delicious mimosas and more. As for parking, I had no trouble finding a spot.

This little restaurant has exceptional service and offers fantastic breakfast and lunch options. I'd say it's just as good as what my mom used to make, but to be honest, she wasn't much of a cook, so this place is better. There can be some variation in the food when different cooks are on duty, which is a bit disappointing, especially since one of the cooks makes the best cheese grits ever. You should definitely give it a try; you'll be hooked! I opted for takeout service.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were wonderful. If you're in the area, definitely check it out—it's worth it! They serve great Southern cuisine at a reasonable price.

I recently visited this restaurant with my girlfriend, and we absolutely loved it. She was able to use her Yelp event for an incredible meal, while I paid for mine, but it was definitely worth it! The parking lot had plenty of spaces, and since it's in a plaza, there were lots of options for parking. This hidden gem in Apopka is well worth the drive! The service was excellent, and their recommendations hit the mark. I ordered the "Two Faced," which features BBQ chicken along with a delightful mix of sweetness and cornbread. It was delicious, especially when paired with their homemade sweet tea and lemonade. I had a fantastic experience and can't wait to return to try more of their delicious homemade dishes.
