Bidrage med feedbackI was in taco express several times. they calculated me $5,899 pesos instead of what I should have paid, $589 pesos. they wouldn't fix the contest and wanted to give me credit in tacos. they stay away from this facility. very shady
I recommend the arrecherra (hopefully I did not sit the writings there). these are smaller tacos and I had flour tortilla I ate 4 and was full. great place.
I ate dinner there was a nice ambiente, but be careful when they make photos, I took 3 of the place and they want the police on mine because I made photos to customers, but was not true I took. pictures of the food and the place so, it kept on eight security approach for them is an unfriendly way, claim and demand to stop photos or call them the police, there is dangerous many people take money from people and ask
I had coworkers tell me about a Taco stand on the Avenue Miguel Aleman not far from a hotel were we often stayed, where the tacos were just awesome and authentic. So, off I went out looking for the Taco stand and found that the...stand had grown into quite a roadside stand . Then I noticed that, close by, the Taco stand now had an indoor location (a restaurant with wait service and indoor seating. I went in to restaurant, was immediately greeted and given my choice of table. (In my experience, it seems that in Mexico, you can choose to sit at any open table-the hostess does not pick a table for you-feel free to correct me if I am wrong . I was handed a menu, all in Spanish, but with great pictures of the items. I was served chips with salsa verde (green and hot and salsa rojo (red and mild...more like the salsa we know in the US. There were several televisions playing Mexican music videos. Business deals were being discussed at a table or two. Friends were socializing after work at other tables. Obviously the locals knew about this place long before I found it. I ordered a Margarita, four tacos, one of each: pork (pierna de cerdo , beef (carne asada , skewered beef (alambre and chicken (fajita de pollo and some charro beans. I was offered my choice of corn or flour tortillas. I was served a frozen Margarita that contained freshly squeezed lime juice with just enough sugar to taste great. I happily enjoyed my drink. My menu choices came looking just like the photographs in the menu. A good portion of meat on a soft tortilla with slices of avocado and plenty of small limes. NO, there was no cheese, lettuce or tomato on my tacos...that is an Americanization, that is not how they are served in Mexico. My food was hot, well seasoned and quite flavorful...I was happy. How much did all this cost? Each Taco was US$1.00, the beans a nickel less. The Margarita, just under $4.50. Great Mexican tacos and what a deal! This is by no means a fancy restaurant (my drink and charro beans were served in styrofoam , but it is an awesome place to get some great food and a great Margarita if you so choose. Give it a try!
I had a great surprise here. the menu has many options, we have tried different aromen and they were all good. they have cold beer, which is great at night after a working day. price is fair for quality received and service. It's good. please visit them when they are around and look for some tacos.
