Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered the whole fried fish, and it was outstanding. The skin was perfectly crispy and not greasy at all, while the fish itself was tender and flaky on the inside. The French fries were a great side dish. This restaurant serves incredible food!
During the Sunday of the July 4th weekend, the options were quite limited. Perhaps a relief chef was in charge that day. The waitress was pleasant, but unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations, especially considering the high prices. The fried oysters were heavily breaded, which was disappointing.
It seems that the restaurant is closed. There is a different establishment in its place now. Additionally, it doesn't look like Bottoms Up has relocated to another location either.
When our bill came, we noticed we were charged $9 for the Alfredo linguini. My daughter ordered a chicken quesadilla but was served just a cheese one. We pointed this out, and while they did prepare another one, it took longer than the time it took to bring out the first order. My wife ordered a turkey club, which arrived without bacon, was overloaded with turkey, and lacked the sauce. To apologize for the mix-ups, they gave us a 15% discount, which we appreciated. However, I’m still perplexed about the linguini issue.
The experience was pretty average. All the dishes fell short in flavor, which made the overall meal just okay. The service left a lot to be desired, although I won't dwell on that because of the circumstances. We decided to go on a Monday when other places were closed. You might want to give it a try if you're curious, but overall, it’s not particularly noteworthy.
