Beautiful Sushi Square, near Aomori Train Station along the shopping street. Staff are friendly and they can speak a bit English, and they have English menu for sushi.

Great sushi at reasonable price. Chefs are experienced and professional. Recommend the assorted sushi set.

Quick, clean, reasonable with variety of different plates. The restaurant is not big and get fully seated just after its opened. Go there 5 mins before it opens and write down your name on the waiting list and sit and wait for the call.

Extremely high quality, I would really recommend it for everyone who comes to Aomori, we've been through all Japan but haven't got anything better so far, even in Hokkaido.

Came here after seeing the good reviews online! It 's hard to miss this place, being more attractive than the competitors. There 's English menu, and you place your orders on an iPad (Has English, Chinese and korean options). You can choose if you want wasabi or not. Definitely tourist friendly. Sat at the counter, and chef and staff were friendly to answer my questions to their best efforts. Had the 'Hakkoda ' set meal, which costs almost 2700 yen. Not cheap, but not very expensive either. Hotate and chutoro were the highlights! Ordered the grilled scallops which was quite unique, as you have to cook and mix the eggs yourself!! Paid a total of 3.5k yen for 1 pax. Quite pricey and not the best sushi, but good experience overall.
