The Tavern - Ao Nang

I absolutely adore pizza, and this is one of the best I have had in a long time. The crust is perfect, with a good consistency and easy to chew. The only downside was that it lacked a bit of salt for my taste, but that was easily remedied with some table salt. The staff was very attentive and polite, and our food was served quickly. The only downside was that the restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, but we arrived early so it wasn't a problem.

This cozy restaurant is the best option for enjoying authentic Italian cuisine in the area, with efficient and welcoming service. The owner, Chef Umberto, has expertly blended passion and tradition in his specialty dishes, with the risotto being a standout. There is also a great variety of wines, including some fantastic options from Piemonte. A must-try experience.

We tried the pizza at this restaurant and it was authentically Italian. They have a great selection of beer and wine. The customer service was also excellent, especially with our 2-year-old daughter. Highly recommended!
