Yamayu Santatsu - Antwerpen-centrum

I recently dined at this restaurant. The sushi was excellent, fresh, and unparalleled for takeout. However, it seems like the prices are increasing. The biggest issue with this restaurant is the service: it is fast and efficient, but impersonal, or even rude (especially towards women). The glasses are placed at the end of the table, the dishes are brought without any explanation or friendliness. Overall, I will not be returning for the quality of the sushi.

The dinner at this restaurant was truly superb. It was my first time visiting a Japanese restaurant, so I can't really compare it to others. I expected the smaller portions, but we were pleasantly surprised by the bouillabaisse. The fish was a bit pricey, but absolutely delicious, as was the tea. The service was outstanding. If you're not able to eat with chopsticks, they will go out of their way to teach you or provide a modified version. I could imagine that even Japanese children are taught the art of using chopsticks.

I go to this restaurant regularly to enjoy a chirashi lunch. rice bowl with raw fish green tea 13 euros. The japanners who visit the house eat the same as, which makes me a certain trust. I can't say much about this lunch outside that it tastes special to me, the rice quasi-altime is perfect, and as far as the fish goes, I can never complain. I went to dinner a few years ago, and I wasn't satisfied with my mate's temporary event. So my quote is pure and only based on lunch. Finally: The japanese chief speaks some French and is a good guy.

Dinner is really excellent. This was the first time I visited a japans restaurant, so I can't really compare it. Jap's mini-proportions were expected, but we have a bouillabaisian candidate there. Not cheap, but delicious fish, tee and call it. Very valuable service. It's risky if you can't eat with sticks. They move heaven and earth to teach you, or possibly pass a modified stick version of art. Certainly not cheap. We were about 60 bucks per person, but absolude!

Overall, despite the excellent sushi, I will not be returning due to the disappointing service.
