Visbistro Mojo - Antwerpen-centrum

This restaurant is a stunning location to enjoy seafood dishes. The brill fish is incredibly succulent and flavorful.

N51°12.573 ' E4°24.124 ' on the basis of the excellent reviews of TripAdvisor members and a good impression of their website we used them for direct booking,) we visited this fishing restaurant in the 't-Zuid-viertel near the britselei transit road in juli 2020. fresh fish and shellfish are presented on the counter. Chef johan and his sister nuria try to offer the guests an excellent quality dinner at reasonable prices. they offer seating inside and outside on the terrace. because of the good weather we chose the terrace. the first thing we noticed was the excellent waiter service. we needed more time to study the menu and wine selection and in the meantime they served us very good tasting bacquette with butter. we chose the montebaco verdejo white wine €28,), which was naturally served in a cooler,) seabass ceviche €11) as an appetizer, line caught seabarschfilet with roasted green spa gel €24) and salmon with sweet béarnaise €24) as a main course. the ceviche des sea bass, a Peruvian or ecuadorian fresh fish dish cured and seasoned in lemon or limette, was an excellent starter. very tasteful appetizer, with beautiful aromen, texture and smell. this starter made us realize that mojo is an excellent restaurant for seafood. our main course disappointed not well baked meeresbass and salmon, with great pleasure. many chefs focus on the delivery of well prepared fish dishes and forget about the next dishes. mojo not and their sweet were on the same level of the fish. excellent taste, texture and smell. we finished this excellent diner with a dame blanche €11) and came to the conclusion that mojo supplies fish dishes of excellent quality to reasonable trips. highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. the best fish dish I ever had. it is a very popular restaurant, but we had to make a reservation 2 days in advance to finally catch a place and the online reservation tool only works from at least 3 days in advance, so I would recommend going this route.

Fantastic seafood! the service is good, and I also appreciate their concept of serving seafood and also the way they treat tourist. Thank you. must visit once again when I come back to antwerpen.

Exceptional food. Just beware of the portion sizes. We ordered a hot platter for 2 could be easily for three people. Personnel are marvellous and even though they don’t have a menu in English, they were super helpful and translated for us
