The food was different and not typical Indian cuisine. It was cooked without ghee so lighter on the stomach. The spices were new to myself and my friend. The tastes were a pleasant surprise. The couple who run the place are very friendly. One criticism , our plates were cold. Affordable prices . My friend and I will go there again
Good food, very friendly people. The interior is not that amazing, but it's a good place to have some authentic Sri Lankan food. Really cheap.
Thursday night: Funny neon lighting, a climbing door, pleasantly fresh, large menu cards on patriotic paper. A basic Eastern restaurant where there are some more in Antwerp. The services are super friendly, the prizes on the menu look set up in another coin, but it's effectively cheap in here! The 3 starters: vadai somosa and fish cutlet costs together 6.5 euros and fill our stomachs for half, not super sophisticated, especially with the coconut sambol that is served at most. Typical goods from the Srilankees South Indian kitchen. There's a Sri Lankese Lion on the beer map. On the other side, fried rice is eaten with curry and chicken, medium spicy for someone who's just to eat spicy, no more place for dessert... That's for next time! A fair meal for a very honest price, we pay $33 for 2...
Chicken Biryani was yum. However, fried chicken leg piece was bit raw and the quantity of raita is very less.
