La Barca Del Pescador - Antigua

We ate in this restaurant twice could not fault food or service. You were made to feel welcome like an old friend. Also the added attraction of live music in the square. Going to Correleco give it a try. You will not be disappointed Tapas only €3.50 portion.

Despite the mixed reviews, we decided to give this place a go. Wish we hadn't. We ordered 2 tapas for starter only to be informed by the manager after 10 minutes that they had run out of mushrooms for the garlic mushroom dish. Okay, just the chicken croquettes then. Just as a previous reviewer stated, they taste of ham and are clearly bought in and not made in house. We ate them as we were hungry and the paella was taking ages to be served. 55 minutes after we ordered the seafood and chicken paella, a bowl of wet, over boiled long grained rice with tiny pieces of fish and chicken, but not a hint of any seafood was presented to us. It tasted of nothing in particular and, even at 29 euros for two people this was a ridiculously poor plate of food that was presented to us. The chef should be ashamed to have even send this out! I told the waitress that it was terrible and she went to get the manager. I told him that I didn't want the paella and that I wouldn't pay for it. He became extremely aggressive as if it were my fault that his chef couldn't cook. I left 19 euros to cover for the 6 croquettes that we had eaten and left whilst being followed by the manager swearing at the top of his voice at us. He was obviously having a very poor evening as all three tables that were eating while we were there complained about their food and were dealt with equally aggressively by the restaurant manager. My reviews on Tripadvisor are usually positive and ask for you all to give the restaurant a go. Not with this one. Please be warned, this is not a good place to eat and if you complain you will be aggressively abused. Stay away.

Located on the waterfront, glass screens to stop the wind, never seemed to be busy may be due to the location, food was really nice, staff friendly and no pressure if you spend a few hours sat at the table.

Era muy corto días en Strongventura y si devolviera algún día el lugar para visitar es rl redtaurante el barco del pescador todo el servicio fresco y magnífico sin duda para rl mejor de strongventura.

Comida exquisita e inmejorable atención. el lugar ideal si visita la isla de Fortventura. Repito sin duda
