The Golden X Inn - Antigonish

The Golden X Inn is great! They’re food is fantastic and the staff is very welcoming! The prices were also extremely reasonable! Will definitely be coming back again!

I made a reservation for a table, but when I arrived, I was informed that there was no space available.

The Marvel trivia night was a lot of fun, and everyone at our table enjoyed themselves immensely. Our waitress was fantastic—she was very friendly and attentive.

When you organize a 3-4 hour event, it's unreasonable to ask paying customers to leave before the event is over. We arrived and were informed that we had three hours at our table. However, just 1.5 hours in, security told us we had to leave, contradicting what the hostess had said about the three-hour rule. The security staff was rude, and the wait staff mostly just chatted among themselves. What’s the point of hosting an event if you won’t even allow your customers to enjoy it? I went to a three-hour bingo game and was told to leave while my bingo card and cocktail were still half full. It’s disgraceful to treat the students who contribute to this business in such a manner. As a former employee, I’m relieved I no longer work here. We won’t be returning until this policy is addressed. It’s incredibly disappointing to be treated this way at a place I used to adore, especially during an event that should be enjoyable.
