Bidrage med feedbackTwo nights ago we ordered from the milk queen in Oxford thru door dash. My daughter is very allergic to peanuts. She ordered a blizzard that should not contain peanuts or peanut butter at all. It ended with peanuts or something because in a matter of 30 minutes her face swollen and it was hard for her to breathe, along with her heart rate almost 160. We were about 5 hours in the emergency room. I tried to call the store, but nobody can answer. I write this for the next person who has an allergy, please make sure you get what you order.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I had my husband two double cheeseburgers with bacon on them. I was on the phone with him when he ordered, so I heard what he said. He comes home with food and the burgers are barely cooked and they put salad instead of bacon. Pure laziness. It won't go back.
Just like everywhere else, smaller shares, higher prices. But my family enjoyed their banana columns. I only asked for a banana and peanuts, and they did what I demanded, but since it is Dairy Queen, they should try to serve fresh, bigger bananas. Finally, it is Dairy Queen, known for banana cracks. Still good. Absolutely.
The staff took care of us?.even after the lobby was closed. Didn?t want to take the 15 pax van through the drive through with 7 orders!! Thanks for the hospitality!! Update: I feel obligated to update my post and deduct a couple of stars. It?s not because of the service we received but for the service others received after us. As I stated in my original post, the staff really did us a solid and allowed us to stay in the lobby until we all received our desserts. After we all had our ice creams we excited lobby and sat outside. While we were sitting there numerous families entered the building due to the staff not locking the door. Those families told us that the staff were in the back cussing and being down right nasty to them. At around 9:25-9:30 one of the staff members finally locked the door. A few minutes later a lady went up to the door and was complaining that their food had bites taken out of it. She was not happy and the staff wouldn?t open the door for her. When we were leaving the lady and her husband were in the drive through waiting to speak with the staff. Don?t think we?ll ever come back. Even though our experience was positive, you have to remember that you?re there for the customer. If you?re not happy with your chosen profession, find another one.
Before today I had not been back to this DQ location in three years. I'm glad to see the chicken tenders no longer look like nuggets, but I was disappointed to see how dirty the restaurant was. All the tables were dirty, food all over the floor under the tables, the sides of the benches were also disgusting and look like they have not been wiped down in ages. The trash in all three trash locations was full, and the one beside the drink station smelled horrible. My husband also said the entire bathroom was filthy. Including the sink. I do hope the kitchen was cleaner than the dining area! I know it can get busy in restaurants but this was built up filth, not just a few hours worth. Probably will be a while before I am brave enough to visit again.
