Bidrage med feedbackIt was 35th birthday and 8 years marriage anniversary. I have been studying in the country in 2011 at the aqua al. I loved the DC site and this new annapolis location was even better. I felt so special as if we were the only people there. I think we have one of the best tables, even in the situation, change my reservation time! I am really comfortable with them and success. ho sentito così speciale e l’ambiente dal pavimento a soffitto mi sono stata trasferita a firenze. the rosmarino cocktail was the best and the assaggi di secondi is unmatched. that is the best Italian restaurant in America. I only wish they would create more places, but it is clear that it is a work of love and famiglia. also for food critics. any restaurant that brings the kitchen to the way is top-tier. the back of the house looked like a dance. it was magical and I can't wait to come back. Finally, the best part of going to aqua when you add something to the menu rip riso a fragola but benvento al dolce semifreddo nocciola really top animal! in boca a lupo aqua al due e grazie millesimi!
Atmosphere is terrific, food was exceptional, waiter was very attentive though kitchen was a bit slow in serving food. Prices are . Never had better spinach with olive oil and garlic and the sirloin steak was exceptional.
I has heard this place was good but WOW. I’m pretty boujie when it comes to restaurants especially ones that are a little more expensive but this was an impressive dining experience! The food was well balanced not too creamy, not too salty, and the texture of everything was perfect. I got the Signora Perfetta and it was super delicious: not too sweet but not too citrusy or bitter. Service and ambiance were stellar. I was really impressed and will definitely be going back!
I’ve been part of the food and restaurant industry for over 35 years. We celebrated a birthday here tonight and it was extremely disappointing. From the seating all the way through to signing the check. We ordered the special Burrata cheese appetizer. Ice cold and one small piece of burnt toast. I ordered Tagliatelle Roma. The portion was an appetizer portion at best. Bland and unremarkable. My guest’s dishes were similarly bad. My wife’s mushroom pasta had a sauce that resembled condensed mushroom soup. I was charged $16 for a glass of house Chianti-twice! Really?? I could have had a gallon of a better Chianti at Romano’s Macaroni Grill for the same price, as well as a better all-around meal and service. Good thing we still have Osteria 177 down the street. Trust me, if you want top notch Italian food and service, go there. This place is all show, will be our first and last visit.
I had the Strozzapreti al Pomodoro and the Disossata alla Robespierre. Everything was fresh and the pomodoro sauce was nothing like anything I've ever had before. It takes the number one spot in my book! My ribeye was cooked and seasoned perfectly with that nice little char to go with it. Shout out to my server, Alice! She knocked it out of the park.
