The Original Cottage Inn Restaurant

They’re too short-staffed to be able to provide good service and unfortunately got our order very wrong. It’s too bad because the food is good, so the restaurant could be GREAT!

We could not keep our reservation. There was no parking meters available for miles. We were unable to keep our reservation because of Ann Arbor’s poor parks ng conditions.

With a large group in the upper floor, we were treated with the original cottage inn gas friendship and the michigan definition of pizza. as an individual whose taste for cakes are tied nyc, I found the pizza very delicious. the soak and the beats were very good. but the thick crust limited me to two 3 x 5 discs. brot fills them up, a bottom the thin crust of a new yorker cake allows them to eat more. but I digress. the selections of the original cottage inn were visited by all and we came from all over the country. a selection of bissize desserts (cheese cake, petit four and macarons) finished an evening meal of salat, various torppings pizza and brot. the waiting staff knew how to best serve the group. many thanks to them that they offer a great place for our meeting.

In ann arbor for a high time and went to the restaurant for a nostalgia visit. as good as I remember. a diner has zöliakie and she treats it appropriately.

Had not been here in a long time... glad that we did! Family enjoyed their dinner and portions were generous. Decor is casual, nothing too fancy.Appetizers to start...Calamari was nice and crisp, yet tender on the inside. Can't go wrong with cheesy bread... be careful not to get too full on it. Cranberry pecan salad was perfectly balanced on ingredients and flavorful. Great as a side or to have on its own.Entrees...Chicken parmesan was the kids' fave of the night. The ravioli florentine was flavorful and sauce super rich. As for the chicken marsala, chicken was tender served with dark brown gravy, mashed potatoes and large cuts of broccoli florets; taste-wise, the gravy was just okay. Feel like that either makes or breaks the rest of the dish. However, the quantity was more than enough to make up for it.We would definitely go back again.
