Never before have I seen such profound confusion and frustrating slowness. The sandwiches are average at best. The employees appear to be specifically selected for their slowness. You are guaranteed to wait for at least 20 minutes if there are two people in line ordering straight forward sandwiches. You 'll be asked three to four times what type of bread you would like and what type of sandwich you 've already answered all these questions and more. If you ask for Mayo on your sandwich, expect to be asked what did you say you wanted again...? . The employees are often troubleshooting sandwiches... a sentence I never though it would say. This involves the three working employees staring at the sandwich that is overflowing with vegetables, wondering why it isn 't folding itself on its own volition. Why did that person at the vegetable station disappear in the back room for five minutes? It 's unclear, because he/she is wearing the same gloves when they left and didn 't come back with any condiments... all while 12 people waited in line for a sandwich that should take 3 5minutes from start to finish. It 's frustrating because there aren 't any good options for food for hospital employees over the weekend from the cafeteria. These are sandwiches. Not ICU patients with multi organ failure. Efficiency in the hospital is key. Also, the hospital gets mad when you try and submit QAs/Incident reports on the Subway and it 's employees. Apparently Subway doesn 't get M learning modules on an appropriate sense of urgency when serving patients, their loved ones and hospital employees.
Very nice staff and decent food. However, usually understaffed and slow as a result. A few specific food items regularly not available and hardly a day goes by without out at least one of the fountain soft drinks being unavailable.
I waited 15 minutes to place my order. When I finally approached the counter, the manager loudly told me that he couldn't serve me without a mask. I had accidentally left mine on the table, which meant I had to lose my spot in line. The customer service was rude.
