Restaurant L'Académie - Anjou

Two of the four meals received were below average, the other two were good. Waitress worked so hard but should have had help. Not sure about going back.

Very average food. We had the vegetable soup and veal marsala and two seats. Including taxes, $100 for two people. I could have made it at home just as well or better.

L 'Académie is usually better. The service was very slow. More importantly, some of the the dishes that were ordered in my party were not what they were supposed to be. There was no rosemary to be found in rack of lamb with rosemary .

Great staff that help with suggestions. Food was spectacular. Had the Macreuse de boeuf and was blown away. It came with a soup or salad at the start and coffee or tea at the end. The desserts are not to be missed.We were a group of 25 and the staff were very accommodating. I was surprised how quickly the food arrived.Also, you can BYO Wine which was new to me since it isn’t available were I live. Fortunately, one of my local friends let me know and I picked up a bottle on the way to the restaurant.Highly recommend.
