Scrapyard - Angono

Me and my Family went there sa angono scrapyard last november 2019, we decided to dine in there after we went to wake of my uncle (family friend). We came there early lunch and ordered some food, unfortunately we wait for like 45mins for them to complete our meals, we just ordered lomi, cornedbeefsilog , and some lugaw. After we ate we ask for our bills so we can leave, but nobody came to send our bills on our table, then i just bring the bill on the cashier and pay for it nlng sa cashier baka kasi naisip ko dun talaga dapat magbayad, so i ask the cashier na baka pwede paki take out na lang ung lomi na natira ng dad ko, and the cashier just nodded on me, when i came to our table i tooks long time nobody wants to take the lomi that i asked to take out for us, then i went to the staff and ask them y nobody want 's to take our bills and nobody want 's to take the left over lomi that we ask to take out. This is so unbelievable staff that u have! We will never come back again if the service is like this again. So disappointing staff u have!

One of my favorite dining spots in my hometown of Angono, in the mountainous province of Rizal, is Scrapyard Cafe Restaurant. Despite its name, Scrapyard is not a place filled with discarded items. Instead, it is a cozy eatery that serves comfort food reminiscent of home. The prices here are also very reasonable. Locally known as Scrapyard, this restaurant offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the week. The menu features a variety of Filipino dishes such as silog (meals with fried rice and fried egg) and minalot (meals served in a banana leaf with a hard-boiled egg, a side of veggies, and a dessert), as well as local treats like fried itik, goto, lumpia, halo-halo, and kakanin. Whenever I am in the mood for goto (a Filipino congee dish) and lumpia (spring rolls) or minalot, this is my go-to spot. And the best part is that goto and lumpia are available 24/7.

The place is great...the foods are awesome..esp.their BINALOT..my fave is Binagoongan...love it very much..secondly their Lugaw..available 24hrs a day...and the Halo haloI miss the place so much..

This restaurant has been a part of Angono for a long time. The food is still amazing, especially their Lugaw which was popular during my college days. During my recent visit last week, I noticed improvements in the overall renovation of the place. The Tapsilog (Tapa+sinangag+itlog) was still the best, served with broth and tomatoes. You won't be able to resist getting a second serving of rice here. This place holds a special nostalgic value for me and is a must-visit for anyone interested in Angono's history.

We were there on Saturday night and the band was good! There is a limited choice of food though. We went back for the music not the food. Sorry. Food was cheap and service was okay
