Bidrage med feedbackIf you like cheese reglet or fondue! This is the places to go in Angers. They serve all product typically from the region of Savoyarde. Staff very happy and friendly. Not fart from the city centre.
The hotel where I stayed, recommended me a couple of restaurants, but it was saterday and all of them were complete. Just Les Clarines was more or less empty.The speciality of the house is fondue and the only good point is that the meat is excellent. The oil for the fondue is not the real fondue oil: I buy at home special oil for it, a little bit more expensive, but it gives a good taste. In the restaurant they use the cheapest normal oil for it.You receive only meat, a couple of sauces (of course not home made) and "french fries" but even in Russia they will offer you something that can be eaten.Vegetables or anything else is not offered (only 250 gram meat and dark cooked french fries) and on that staged, I asked the manager if she could eat what they give to me.First answer was "Why", my next question was which temperature they used to make this french fries and her answer was unbelievebel: we don't have a therometer on it. Then I asked which potatoes they used and her answer was "I'm not sure, but it can be the wrong".We payed 60 euro for a complete menu (for 2 persons), which is a complete waste of money.The entry was nothing special and my choise of dessert was not more available... I can continue, but please: don't go there and spent the money somewhere else. This is one of the worst restaurants I have eaten in many years.
A small restaurant where it is best to book the weekend because it is rather popular! The restaurant offers a raclette service in potatoes (20 euros per person). Good courage to finish the cheese with a size of gargantuesque!
We went to eat in this "restaurant" in group. We booked early. Our menus were ordered. Raclette for one, fondue for other desserts. We are many to say that when we arrived, we felt that we were embarrassing. A kir was served as an aperitif but unfortunately we had already ordered other aperitives before we were told. The waitress looked very lunatic: a polished blow, the other much less.. I even saw him blow! For dessert we had the right to a very low-end white cheese, like the rest of the diner! You can't have an ice ball instead! All for an exorbitant price! I strongly advise this restaurant for its deplorable service, low-end food and price!
For one of the only savoyard restaurants in Angers it is also a pity to offer products of such poor quality. The quality of food is not at the height. An eccentric melt... The METRO charcuterie is not what's best to accompany the cheese. The decor is a little classic. Anyway for a first experience I'll probably not come back...
