Ken and Dan crushed it tonight. Foie mash excellent, elk cooked perfectly, lamb out of this world, scallops seered perfectly golden brown. Couldn't be more pleased with our evening. Friendly staff as well, please please please try this food. In the middle of nowhere sussex county there are so few options and this is for sure top 5 best spots. Nice little gem here off the beaten path. Tucked away and bordering the lake The Blue Heron tavern is well worth the trip. From the moment you walk in, your hit with a feeling of nostalgia, ol school vibes. The menu on the other hand is fresh and inviting. The food is thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Great place for date night, family dinner or simply eating solo at the bar.

The Two Es, as my husband says: Excellent and Expensive. Perfect special occasion venue w/o being stuffy. Lovely ambiance, spectacular setting, outstanding food/selection, special cocktails, friendly professional staff. Recommend: mushroom soup, elk for sure, lamb lollipops, pear dessert. Lobster dishes sounded amazing. Menu changes. Will be back.
