Hook's Bbq - Andalusia

So I worked here a few months back. I worked hard. But I was sick from what seemed to be food poisoning, my fiancé and I both had it. They wouldn’t let me have time off to recover and told me I was at risk of losing my job. Sooo since they wanna be like that, here we go. -the bbq sauce is stored in large trash cans that’s seldom get cleaned. (Like it dries and they just refill it. At least that’s how they did it then -they wanted me to prepare food while I had food poisoning -absolutely no professionalism Maybe if they cleaned things properly and treated their employees better and paid them what they deserve for all that they put up with it would be a better place. Also they had no scheduling organization. I’d have to wait until I received a text to know if I had to work. That leaves no room for my own plans. Anyway. Hope this helps :

This is a yes every time I get up there!! Great bbq or burger.

We enjoyed the staff and the pulled pork was delicious.

Baked beans and potato salad very good. Pork can be a little dry and not much smoke flavor. Can't keep an employee long enough to be consistent.

Awesome pulled pork sandwiches!! The potatoes salad and fried okra are really tasty too!! We’ve been here several times and it’s consistently very good. Highly recommend!
