El Portal - Andahuaylas

On the main square, we entered in the middle of the afternoon after a long bus drive in this restaurant. The main room was empty, but quickly a waitress came to ask what we wanted to eat. The food was great and traditional, the employees...are nice. And we got some chicha morada and some fried corn for free.

I only spent about 3 hours or so in andahuaylas. I needed some food or a snack between my trip from abancay to ayacucho. andahuaylas was my box stop. I accidentally saw a parade in front of the plaza and I had a good coffee at this place. the staff is patient. I had a juice and an empanada. the glass of juice was generously large and healthy of the course. also the empanada was delicious. I stayed there for a while and relaxed, and appreciated such a place in this small town of others. the wifi didn't work for me in caffe, but I could on public Wi-Fi. probably something wrong with my handy. I recommend this place for eating or drinking, its good location and has a good price.
