Village Inn - Anchorage

It had been serveral years since i have been back and decided to give them a shot. Had not come back in several years because of a previous experiamce in the same location. Bad choice. The service was very poor. Went to order a milk shake and a root beer float. Instead of warning us they were out of the basic ingredient (ice cream) before we ordered, they came back 10 minutes later and said were out of ice cream . The table my family sat at was not even clean. It was sticky. The place wasn 't even busy and yet the waitress didn 't even come back to check and see if we needed refills. We have even been waiting more than 20 minutes to pay our bill and there 's still no sign of the waitress. I 'm never coming back to the Midtown location off of Northern Lights

We ate here as my aunts granddaughter wanted to eat here. We came back from Denali and knew we'd be eating later. I had the kids pancake special. At first, the server said no. I then said I wasn't gonna eat, but he said don't tell my manager. Really don't know what the big deal was as it was dead during the day. I saved the smaller pancakes for breakfast the next day. Aren't they cute?

I give 5 stars for improvement! The restaurant is now clean, as well as tables and floors. Food arrived hot and just as we ordered. Waitress was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to our needs. Restaurant was full but everyone was friendly and enjoying their food.Great job! We will be back5th time visitor
