The Fancy Moose - Anchorage

The patio seat in the bar is great to see the float aircraft landing and taking off. so we were there. the service is a little slow, but honestly once.

The food and beer were excellent, the decor beautiful and to foot from our hotel. as in other reviews of the service was friendly, but sub par them.

It is nice because the restaurant looks over the lake, but the service is slow and the eating was not great. came here because it was one of the only places that were late open.

The Fancy Moose Lounge, located in the Lakefront Hotel with a view of the largest floatplane base in the world, is the BEST !! It has a local clientele as well as people from around the state and the world. There's always a great conversation. I usually visit Monday, Tuesday Wednesday nights when Kamila the bartender and Julie and Sara the servers are working. They are the BEST ! Fast and Courteous and Always Smiling ! ! ! They also have Excellent food with Very Large portions ! Top Shelf ! Five Stars !!! See ya there . . .
