Saverio's Pizzeria - Anchorage

Make this your go-to spot for pizza pickup! (They also deliver via DoorDash.) I visited this pizzeria for the third time this past summer, and it continues to be my favorite local pizza joint. While everyone knows Mooses Tooth is fantastic, Saverio's Pizzeria is just as delicious in its own unique way. The pizza brings back memories of the classic pies I enjoyed in the lower 48 states. The dough, sauce, and toppings are all incredibly flavorful, and the pizza isn’t overly filling like Mooses Tooth can be. Their garlic knots and salads are also excellent additions to the menu. I stopped by for a pickup tonight, and while they were slightly delayed beyond the estimated pickup time (which I totally understand—having worked in a restaurant myself), the person I assume is the owner or manager provided outstanding customer service to make up for it. Cheers to fantastic pizza and great service!

The atmosphere was filled with cheerful and helpful staff. I enjoyed the delicious Mediterranean salad. We ordered a medium-sized pizza, which turned out to be enormous! They kindly prepared it with half clam casino and half cheese and mushrooms. The pizza was cooked to perfection.

We ordered the Clams Casino pizza and a cheese pizza. The Clams Casino pizza was the best pizza I've had in a long time. I will definitely be ordering it again the next time I visit Anchorage. The service was also very good.

No words to describe how phenomenal this place is-we came over after not wanting to wait 1hr+ next door and boy am I glad we did. We found our new favorite pizza spot! INCREDIBLE pizza, amazing atmosphere, friendly and hardworking people! This is the new go to spot! I’ve never found New York style pizza here in anchorage and this place nails it

Fantastic customer service! Yummy pizza! So glad we found this pizza place. Love that they have pizza by the slice. Always a place to sit. My daughter requested pizza here twice in one week. Highly recommend!
